Jessica Koolhaas advises on technology- and commercial contracting as part of the IT team at De Roos. Her clients vary from start-ups and scale-ups to larger companies, assisting customers as well as vendors in their procurement journey. She advises on all aspects of IT-entrepreneurship, such as software development or implementation trajectories, strategic tech collaborations, joint IT development projects, licensing, outsourcing etc.
After successfully taking part in De Roos’ corporate law section, she now combines her IT and commercial contracting work with earlier experience in inter alia investment rounds, employee participation projects, and resolving management disputes and shareholder issues, making her equipped to offer customized all-round legal advice to businesses.
Jessica has worked as an attorney-at-law at De Roos since 2017. She holds a bachelor’s Law degree, a master’s degree in Private Law as well as a master’s degree in Public Law (all cum laude) from the University of Amsterdam. During her studies, she gained invaluable work experience at the Court of Amsterdam and at the Commercial Litigation department of Stibbe.

Jessica has registered Information Law as her legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister), which requires attorneys to obtain ten training credits annually in the registered legal practice area, in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
