Kiran Balak has been working at De Roos since 2021, firstly in the Corporate Law team and then in the Employment Law team from 2023. At De Roos, she is involved in a wide range of employment law matters, including advising on employment agreements and termination of employment. Additionally, while part of the Corporate Law team she worked on on corporate law matters including investment rounds and advising directors.

Before joining De Roos, Kiran studied at the University of Leiden where she completed her master's degree in Labour Law. As part of her studies, she spent a considerable time in Portugal at the Universidade de Coimbra with her major focus was studies on corporate social responsibility. Furthermore, she completed internships at a law firm and municipality, along with clerking at the District Court of the Hague.
