Romée Groenewold

Romée Groenewold is a member of the IT Law team at De Roos, where she assists clients with commercial contracts and projects involving SaaS, licensing, software implementation, development, and outsourcing.
Romée earned her Law degree from the University of Utrecht in 2020. During her master’s program, she specialized in Intellectual Property Rights, with her thesis focusing on European approaches to combating disinformation.
While studying, Romée gained valuable experience through internships at various law firms and the Commissioner’s Office for Media. She also contributed to refugee support as a volunteer with Vluchtelingenwerk Midden-Nederland, an organization dedicated to assisting refugees. Romée began her career as a lecturer at the University of Utrecht, where she was primarily affiliated with the Centre for Intellectual Property Rights.
