Creating lasting value and positive impact
The business ethics and sustainability team at De Roos combines extensive experience in legal practice and academia. This enables them to provide clients with up-to-date insight into legal requirements and effective compliance across a broad range of areas.
The team represents parties in proceedings involving governmental authorities and conducts internal investigations, advising organizations on how to address potential irregularities, including matters relating to anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, fraud, business and human rights, and international sanctions.
They have particular expertise in climate and sustainability law. The team has represented NGOs in legal proceedings and advises companies on compliance with EU Green Deal legislation, including reporting obligations under the CSRD, due diligence requirements (CSDDD), packaging regulations (PPWR), certification schemes (ECGT), and deforestation legislation (EUDR).
