Liz de Rijke is part of the Dispute Resolution team at De Roos. Liz specialises in corporate and commercial litigation. Liz has a special focus on clients in the media and entertainment industry.

Liz holds a master’s degree in both Information Law and Civil Law from the University of Amsterdam. During her studies, Liz gained notable experience in the media sector. She holds a minor in journalism and has relevant work experience at the Dutch Raad voor de Journalistiek (Press Council).

At De Roos, Liz primarily advises and litigates in cases concerning commercial (sponsoring) contracts, press publications and defamation claims. Alongside her professional work, Liz is a member of the Association for Media and Communication (VMC) and contributes as an editorial team member to the documentation section of Mediaforum.

Practice areas:
Liz has registered corporate law as her legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister), which requires one to obtain ten training credits annually in the registered legal practice area, in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
