Merle Pieters is part of the Corporate Law team at De Roos. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law and Economics from Leiden University as well as her master’s degree in Civil Law in June 2021.

Whilst undertaking her studies, she was actively involved in a number of organisations and held a few part-time roles within the legal sector. In addition, she gained invaluable practical experience as a court clerk at The Hague District Court and through two internships in the legal field.

Merle joined De Roos in September 2021.

Practice areas:
Merle has registered corporate law as her legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister), which requires one to obtain ten training credits annually in the registered legal practice area, in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
